My Story

With over 20 years of experience working in fast-paced, target-driven business environments, I understand the pressures that modern workplaces and employees face every day.

Throughout my career in leadership and sales, I’ve seen first-hand the impact that stress, burnout and poor mental wellbeing can have on individuals, teams and businesses, from both work based pressures and outside issues.

That experience inspired me to build Anchor Workplace Wellbeing — a business focused on helping organisations create healthier, more supportive and more resilient workplaces through professional mental health and wellbeing training.

I specialise in workplace mental health awareness, First Aid for Mental Health training, menopause awareness and understanding courses, resilience and wellbeing support -  delivering practical, engaging and approachable training designed for real working environments.

My aim is to help businesses not only support their people more effectively, but also build stronger workplace cultures where employees feel valued, supported and able to perform at their best.

This isn't just about helping people when they are in crisis, but about helping prevent reaching that crisis point.

Training is delivered in a professional, supportive and relatable way, combining accredited learning with real-world business understanding, either face to face or virtual.

At Anchor Workplace Wellbeing, I believe that protecting employee wellbeing is not just the right thing to do — it’s essential for building stronger, healthier and more successful organisations.

Why Anchor?

People often ask why I chose the name Anchor Workplace Wellbeing.

Part of the inspiration comes from where I happiest, a place with "Anchor" in its name, which has always held special meaning for me and made me feel anchored and at peace. But as the business evolved, I realised the name represented something much more.

An anchor provides strength, stability and reassurance, particularly during uncertain times. It doesn't stop a ship from moving forward; it simply provides security when it's needed most.

I believe the same is true in the workplace. Your people are the anchor of your organisation. When employees feel supported, managers have the confidence to lead, and wellbeing is embedded into the culture, organisations become stronger, more resilient and better equipped to navigate change.

That's the philosophy behind Anchor Workplace Wellbeing. My role is to help organisations create workplaces where people feel valued, supported and able to thrive—because when your people are strong, your business is stronger too.
